Terms of service

These terms are between you and klistra (“we”). By making an account or using the service you agree to them. klistra is in a private beta: things change, break and get fixed often, and we may change these terms with notice by email.

The service

klistra makes videos and pictures from the words and files you give it. You keep the rights to what you upload. What klistra makes from it is yours to use, including commercially, once it is rendered. We may show work made with klistra in our own showcase only with your permission.

Your content

You are responsible for what you upload and for having the right to use it: your own material, or material you are licensed to use. Do not upload or make anything unlawful, anything that infringes someone else’s rights, or anything that harasses or deceives. We may remove content and close accounts that break this.

Credits and payment

Work is paid for in credits. Plan credits come each month and, on paid plans, roll over once; bought credits last twelve months. Before costly work starts you see roughly what it will take, and you are charged what it took. During the beta, credits may be given freely and prices may change. Purchases, once real, are not refundable except where the law says otherwise or where klistra failed to deliver.

Accounts

One person per account, with a working email address. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with it. You may close your account at any time by writing to us, and we delete your data as the privacy policy says.

Availability and liability

The beta is offered as it is, without a promise of uptime or of any particular result. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
